"If you ask me today, would I ever wanna change my situation? I would have to say; NO! Because my legs haven't disabled me. If anything, they're enabled me. They forced me to rely on my imagination and to believe in the possibilities."
What an amazing idea to start her talk, inviting us to imagine our lives as books and we're its authors, so we can all relate and start wondering about ourselves as well. The whole talk is filled endless chapters of pure hope, positivism, day-dreaming, compassion, patience, hard work, innovation, and creativity without any type of borders.
Whenever I feel awfully down, I watch this talk to cheer me up again, giving me an intensive dose of energy like never before. She never, once, failed to inspire me to be better and stronger. It's amazingly strange to seek comfort from a person who lives on the other side of the world, but that's what TED is all about, isn't it? :)
Don't miss it, guys. I'm sure you'll love it!
